2. Accessing the website
When nema.im is accessed, our server processes, as technically necessary, the IP address, time, requested address, browser and operating system in order to deliver the page and secure operation. We keep these server logs for no longer than 14 days.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (secure and stable operation).
3. Cookies and local storage
If you choose a language, we store it in the cookie NEXT_LOCALE (one year). If you choose light or dark, your browser stores this in local storage. Both are necessary for the display you requested.
Legal basis: Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG; Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We deliver fonts from our own server; no request goes to third parties for this.
4. Reach measurement
We measure the use of nema.im with Umami, software that we operate ourselves on our server (analytics.nema.im). Umami does not set cookies. It records the page accessed, referrer, approximate origin, device type, browser and screen size. We do not create a cross-device profile; no data goes to third parties in the process.
Your browser stores nothing for this measurement, neither cookies nor entries in local storage.

We do not use third-party tracking services — such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or advertising networks.
5. Contact
If you send us an email, we process your information in order to answer your enquiry and delete it once it has been dealt with and no retention obligation applies.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry concerns a contract; otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
6. Recipients
The website, reach measurement and our mail server run on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) in the European Union that we manage ourselves. A data processing agreement is in place with Hetzner. No transfer to countries outside the EU takes place when you visit this website.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21). Please contact support@nema.im.
You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). 8. Changes
We adapt this policy when the website or the legal situation changes. It is not a contract; you do not have to agree to it.
